What to Expect
Consultation
Your pre-session phone consultation will ensure that your final portraits exceed your expectations. I will ask about your family and goals for the session, including props and poses. We will discuss what you and your family should wear and what to bring to your session.
Reserving Your Session
I will ask you to carefully review the information on this website to ensure that my studio is a good fit for your portrait needs, in both style and budget. The session is reserved by rendering full payment for your session fee for Signature Sessions and 1/2 of the session fee for Simplicity Sessions. Please note that sessions book about two weeks in advance. Ideally newborn sessions should be reserved prior to baby’s arrival to ensure availability within two weeks of your baby’s birth. Your newborn reservation ensures I have availability for you and will be firmly scheduled once your baby arrives.
Session Day
Please pay close attention to your confirmation email for the home studio address and parking directions. If you or your child is sick on the day of your session please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. Excessive lateness to your session may result in a reduced amount of session time or session cancellation and forfeiture of the session fee.
Personalized Ordering
Approximately two weeks following your session, you will come back to the studio for your scheduled Ordering Session. You will enjoy refreshments as you view your images in real size projected in full color on canvas. The studio has samples of our heirloom quality printed products, including gallery wraps, framed wall portraits, wood blocks and storybooks. Loved ones who are involved in the decision process should attend this special event as you finalize your order. Please be prepared to place and pay for your order at this time. *Please note I do not offer online ordering or proof galleries. If you are unable to schedule an ordering session you are welcome to purchase the full set of digital files.
Product Delivery
Your portrait order will be ready to pick up at the studio in approximately 4-6 weeks. Each product you purchase will be professionally prepared for printing and inspected for quality upon arrival to the studio. Your complete satisfaction is 100% guaranteed! I do offer the option of shipping orders and any fees will be quoted at your ordering session. Digital files are delivered within 48 hours of your ordering session complete with a print release and a lab recommendation.
