Long before he can say “Mama,” before those first wobbly steps and mischievous smiles, there’s a connection that begins with the gentlest touch and the quiet comfort of being close.

As an Atlanta newborn photographer, I’ve spent more than 20 years photographing some of life’s most precious beginnings. And while I adore creating beautiful portraits of newborn babies, there’s something especially meaningful about including Mom in those early photographs.
So often, mothers are the ones taking the pictures. They’re documenting every tiny milestone, every sleepy smile, every little detail they never want to forget.
